What are the 5 Program Management Performance Domains
program differ from portfolios in two important ways:
Programs include work that are related in some way and collectively contribute to the achievement of the program’s outcomes and intended benefits. include the concept of time and incorporate schedules through which specific mliestone achievements are measured.
Portfolios do not require work to be related. Portfolios provide a means for organizations to effectively manage a collection of investments and work that is imporant to the achievement of the the organizaitons strategic objectives.
what are the 2 differetn categories of change?
Internal Change: changes within the program
External Change: need to adapt the organiation in order for it to be able to exploit the benefits created by the program.
What type of program change responses:
ability to change the direction of a component, cancel a component, or start a new component.
Program Complexity factors:
Governance Complexity
Stakeholder Complexity
Definition Comlexity
Benefits Delivery Complexity
Interdependency Complexity
