-looks at ones knowledge, beliefs, values, confidence, past experience, etc.)
Enabling factors?
Skills, resources, social & physical environment
-make change possible or are barriers to change
Reinforcing factors?
Rewards and feedback for adopting a behavior
-can encourage or discourage continuation
Characteristics of learners?
- educational and cultural needs of the target group
- format (1 on 1; group, etc.)
- language skills
- contact time
- educational environment (face to face, virtual, etc.)
