Q

What is self-awareness?

A

Recognising a feeling or thought as it happens. The ability to monitor feelings and thoughts from moment-to-moment is crucial to psychological insight and understanding, and allows us to respond rather than react.

Self awareness helps motivate ourselves and is essential for reaching goals

Also helps to recognise other people’s emotions
