According to him, a profession is an occupation that regulates itself through systematic, required training, and collegial discipline. The occupation has a base in technical, specialized knowledge and that occupation prioritizes service rather than profit, and its enshrined in a code of ethics.

We trust professionals out of pure need, not want. When you need a doctor, lawyer, minister, you have no choice but to trust someone.

- In a professional relationship with a client, are we as professionals equipped to know what’s in the clients best interest ?
