What does FD need to ensure from range when requested an area of clearance?
Range must IDENTIFY and CONFIRM the requested area for clearance (R41/TSE-1) and ENSURES IN A CLEAR MANNER that the unit is READY TO RECEIVE hot CAS/live fire aircraft.
Initial Point phraseology to a/c
(AC ID), cleared into restricted area R3702 for (type of mission) at (range/training area).
Maintain VFR, if unable advise.
SQUAK (beacon code).
Report five minutes prior to mission complete.
Contact (tac unit ID) on (freq)
