CFVR clearance termination
At hellcat and the aircraft will fly “see and be seen” on the reservation
IFR conditions
Aircraft in route to the reservation will obtain a CVFR clearance to depart the Campbell class D
CVFR minimums
Day: 500 foot ceiling and 1/2 a mile visibility
Night/NVD: 500 foot ceiling and 1 mile visibility
CVFR Routes
Departing Campbell class D: Fly the green route (RP Hellcat)
Departing the class D from Saber AHP: Fly the Saber white route (RP HELLCAT)
Medevac and life light aircraft procedures
- MEDEVAC requests: pass all medevac requests from aircraft to Fort Campbell flight dispatch
Dispatch will notify range control for implementation
- LF: Notify Range Control of Lifeflight aircraft entering the restricted area for the closing of ranges
NVS training
Conducted on and off the fort Campbell reservation
VIP aircraft
VIP aircraft have priority only when requested by pilot and workload permits
Aircraft types and call signs usage
Type of aircraft and the last three numbers of the tale will be used as a callsign
Example Apache 345
Tactical call signs are not authorized for rotary wing aircraft
Location of emergency equipment
Campbell Army airfield:
1. crash fire #3 is located between
airfield operations and hangar
2. Crash fire #4 is located at taxiway
kilo and destiny ramp intersection
Saber army heliport: so outside of tower
Noise abatement
No overflight of horse farm located southwest of vagal DZ.
Any aircraft that reports being spotlighted in that area will be marked in red
Weather reporting procedures PIREP
Relate to the weather station and and other pilots in the vicinity as soon as possible
Weather warning reporting procedures
- Weather warnings are sent via the jet server and displayed on the IDS5
- Put the warning on the RIS
- broadcast on all the frequencies every 15 minutes for as long as the warning is in effect
- Broadcast and “all clear” when the weather warning is terminated

Winds sustained at 50 mph or more shift leader will issue instructions
