What format is the citizenship test?
A
The citizenship test is usually a written test but it could be an interview. You will be tested on the knowledge of Canada and of the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and you will also be tested to ensure you have adequate knowledge of English or French.

What happens after the test, if you pass and meet all other requirements?
A
You will receive a Notice to Appear to Take the Oath of Citizenship.
At the ceremony, you will Take the Oath of Citizenship;
Sign the oath form;
receive your Canadian Citizenship Certificate.

What happens if you do not pass the test?
A
You will receive a notification indicating the next steps.
