RNAV App before IAF
Correct Procedure loaded Check Waypoint sequence RAIM check (AUX 3) CDI to magenta
RNAV before FAF
-approach activated, FAF-waypoint in LEG mode -check and call out the magenta “APR” or „LNAV“ message on PFD (right of CDI) -No RAIM / INTEG/ LOI WARN flag
ILS Profile before init. descent
- 1NM out or 1dot below GS: Flaps APP Check: LOC centered, NAV 2 to LOC, GS captured, Altitude correct DME….checked -> starting descent, Gear down - APA to G/A Alt - Final check - ATC report OM Check, Flaps LDG Speed 85 KIAS
When on descent after FAF
- APA to G/A Alt - Final check - ATC report
At OM or Substitute
OM Check Flaps LDG Speed 85 KIAS
G1000 start up
Counter clockwise: - PWR up (obs. self test,check data base,check no integ wrng) - check AUX 3, 4, 5 CDI automatic - Map setup HDG up - FPL activate: insert flightplan via Proc Dep/Arr/Apch keys - Crosscheck FPL with clearance and OFP, first TO wpt - Perform then the Radios on PFD
