Localizer established
Set Nav 2 to LLZ/ILS, ATC report established.
Proceed to XY and hold means automatically for G1000
Direct to XY and OBS mode
Avionic setting / Nav update Package
FLPN (GPS) COM recheck NAV ADF CDI (GPS oder NAV 1/2) RMI (GPS oder NAV 1/2) DME normal NAV1 APA Transponder
Altimeter setting call out
Altimeter STD/QNH…. reading FL/ft….. (Compare with stby Alti within 45 ft) report compared / Stby to go
Sequence systematic for approach preperation
- Analyse ATIS: wind, rwy, vis, ceiling, and type of appr
- GPS / 2. NAV update
- approach briefing
- Check for approach
- landing light on
Sequence systematic after TO or GA
- Profile complete
- AP on
- climb check
- Note take off time/complete OFP for ETA
- Nav update perform
OM check
QNH.... checked Altitude... high/low Missed app alt...set Minimum.... OM check complete
Systematic for Altitude/ FL change
Set new alt on APA, select Mode in FD/AP, “1000 to go, altimeter STD/QNH. 300,100, Alt captured”
G1000 PWR up
PWR up: no warning, valid Database
AUX 3+4 data fields and profile, AUX 5 CDI auto
MAP: HDG up, Range and Disp (TOPO, Stormscope, DCLT - 1)
