Q

What are the SUAS lost link procedures?

A
  1. Loss Data Link procedure requires the Raven to be programmed to Return to Rally point, which in all cases should be programmed as the launch point of departure. If Return to Rally fails Land Immediately should be activated by the AVO. If both options fail, the operator should immediately inform Eagle Radio of UAV last known position, heading, airspeed altitude, and battery life/fuel remaining (in minutes).
  2. See and avoid procedures will be implemented when in conflict with manned aircraft and other UAS.
