Enter the present position on the SET IRS POS line using the following order of presence:
- GPS position (if installed)
- 4 letter ICAO Identifier
- Enter gate position LAT/LONG (if available)
- Enter Airport Reference Point (ARP) LAT/LONG
CDU Preflight Setup:
Enter a speed restriction on the climb page of;
Normal: Vref30 + 80 to 3,000’ AFE
Noise abatement: enter published procedure
SID/DP Requires immediate acceleration to 250 kts, leave speed restriction blank
Takeoff SOP
THRUST SET
PF advances thrust (70% N1 / 1.1 EPR)
Rejected Takeoff
[Reasons prior to 80 KTS]
Any of the following: 1 activation of the master caution 2 system failure(s) 3 unusual noise or vibration 4 tire failure 5 abnormally slow acceleration 6 takeoff configuration warning 7 fire or fire warning 8 engine failure 9 if a side window opens 10 if the airplane is unsafe or unable to fly 11 predictive windshear warning
Rejected Takeoff
[Reasons ABOVE 80 knots and prior to V1]
Any of the following: 1 fire or fire warning 2 engine failure 3 if the airplane is unsafe or unable to fly. 4 predictive windshear warning

Either crew-member (usually PM) will call out the condition as clearly as possible.
The decision to reject is the captain’s responsibility. He should:
Callout: “REJECT”
Throttles - IDLE & Auto Throttles - OFF
Speedbrakes - UP
Reversers - DEPLOY
Brakes - RTO or MAX MANUAL
FO should call out:
“SPEEDBRAKES UP / NOT UP”
“REVERSERS NORMAL / NO L / NO R”
“60 KTS”
