Why do you need to attend the safeguarding training?

A

So that I am prepared to deal with this situation;
in a face to face situation with the patient,
with regards to reporting to my seniors
in order to signpost the patient correctly
in protection of patient’s confidentiality and when to breach that with a safeguarding issue.
