  2. count each outcome that is a “yes” to your question
  3. divide #of yes’s by total sample space

Probability distributions will always add up to?

A

1! if you are given a prob distribution that does not add up to 1, then add up everything to get the total anyway. Divide each cell by the total to get the real distribution. Unless they are asking what ones are viable then its just wrong lmao
