What is a private commercial operation?
AC that are used for business but not to sell the seats. Like a company car.
What kind of specifications do the aircraft of Private Operator Transportation have to conform to?
•Must be Canadian aircraft that are privately owned and are:
•Large (12 500lbs or greater)
•Turbine powered
•Pressurized
•Multi-engine
In order to get a certificate for your private operations, you must submit to TC a Management System, which would include basic items like:
- An Operations Manager
- A Chief Pilot
- A Maintenance Manager
- Your main base and any sub-base(s)
- Registrations and nationalities of the AC that are to operated
- The geographical area in which the ACs will be operated
