How do I determine if someone is in the EU?
A
We have a library on GitHub that helps determine if someone is in the EU. It uses timezone of the browser. It trades absolute accuracy for a cautious approach that’s more lightweight and respectful of end user privacy.
A more thorough approach would be to lookup the IP geo location, but that would require a round trip to a server.
