What are the 4 steps for planning a deployment?

A

Step 1 - Identify Business Goals

Define business goals, for each goal identify the most important metric to be measures & the target value.

Step 2 - Define Use Cases
Identify ideally 2 - 4 use cases. These should be specific business actions you can take that are data-informed. Which use case data to move your business goal toward the target value.

Step 3 - Define Data Requirements
Build a tracking plan to identify key data requirements that meet the use cases. Allows you to validate & sanity check goals & use cases.

Step 4 - Create the Tracking Plan
Assemble the Tracking Plan.

A

Customer data is any piece of information that indicates how your customers are using your product or service and interacting with your brand
E.g. customer lifecycle data, analytics data, behavioural data, digital marketing data, event data
