task orientated; involves tasks being delegated by the charge nurse to individual members of the team

led by an RN/Team leader/Charge RN who is responsible for assessing clients, analyzing client data, planning care, and evaluating each client’s plan of care; team leader determines work assignment
what is primary nursing
one nurse functioning autonomously as the client’s primary nurse; accountable for clients’ care 24hr/day (admin to d/c)
