what are the methods of cavity preparation?
gaining access
Clear ADJ – remove peripheral caries in dentine from ADJ first
Remove any (infected dentine) carious dentine over the pulp – final stage
Any residual caries is removed with a slowly rotating large round bur in an slow handpiece or with an excavator, affected dentine may be visible and detectable
