Junior Ministers
Ministers of state
Ministers with special responsibilities or duties: These are Cbt ministers who do not have specific depts which they head but are given assigned responsibities.
Usually can be identifed in designation Minister for: Science, Status of Women or as Minister of State for something that does not have a corresponding dept, eq Youth, Seniors, Small business and Tourism
Assistant ministers
These individuals possess full cbt rank but they are associated with a dept that is headed by another cbt minister.
They are essentially subordinate to that minister.
Ministers w/o portfolio
often used to give positions in cbt to members who for reasons of age or competence, could not run a dept,
but whose council was desired around the cbt table, or who were needed to provide regional representation.
Parliamentary secretaries
Parliamentarysecretaries are members of Parliament from the governing party who are appointed by the primeminister to assist Cabinet ministers with their parliamentary duties.
