Q

Seismic Waves

A

Energy waves that travel through the Earth’s crust and cause ground movement.
E.G P-waves (| |expansion compression|||compression | |expansion), S-waves(P waves but can go side to side) and surface waves ( or Love/reigleigh waves which go on all axis) . P-waves and S-waves are sometimes collectively called body waves.
