True about Principles of the partography

a. active phase of labor commences at 3 cm dilatation
b. latent phase of labor should last no longer than 12 hours
c. during the active phase, the rate of cervical dilatation should not be slower than 1 cm/hr
d. lag time of 6 hours between a slowing of labor and the need for interventon is unlikely to compromise the fetus or mother and avoids unnecessary intervention.
e. vaginal examinations should be performed as frequently as possible. (every hr)
