What happens to the cells in cancer?
A
β’ cells in the body keep dividing and form an abnormal mass called a TUMOUR

How can you reduce your risk of cancer?
A
- not smoking
- avoiding skin burning and sunbathing for long periods
- avoiding eating too much fat and maintaining a healthy body weight
- avoid too much red meat and processed food
- eating lots of fruit and vegetables
- take regular exercise
- avoid drinking too much alcohol

What is a benign tumour?
A
β’ when the tumour does not spread to other parts of the body

What is malignant tumour?
A
- when the tumour spreads to other parts of the body uncontrollably fast
- itβs easier to deal with a benign tumour than a malignant one
