When do you use the preterito perfecto?
To talk about things that started in the past which continue or repeat in the recent past. and also used to talk about the RECENT PRESENT
When do you use the preterito indefinido?
To describe actions completed at a certain point in the past
When do you use the preterito imperfecto?
Describing repeated actions in the past and to talk about what someone was doing when they were interrupted by something else. Also actions in progress in the past
