Lambert Simnel is noticed by Richard Symonds as he looked like Edward iv’s sons
Symonds chose to pretend that Simnel was the earl of Warwick
Simnel was crowned as Edward VI in Ireland
Simnel had support from Margret of Burgundy
Had support from Yorkists such as John De La Pole
Henry’s success in simnel rebellion
Most of the competent Yorkist commanders such as John De La Pole where killed
Henry showed mercy to Simnel - propaganda
Henry’s failure in the simnel rebellion
Had to personally lead an army in the battle of stoke to protect his throne
What was the Warbeck rebellion 1499
- Perkin Warbeck claims to be Richard Duke of York one of the younger princes in the tower
- Reiceved support from the French court
- But was expelled after the treaty of etaples
- Warbeck and had a handful of supporters landed in Cornwall
- Warbeck was caputured tried to escape and then executed

- Was the last rebellion Henry has secured the throne

- Warbeck had foreign support from France - treaty of etaples had saved Henry
