What is air pressure
The pressure exerted by air due to the particles bumping into each other and the sides of the container

Increase force
Decrease area
How can you decrease pressure
Decrease force

If a force of 20N is exerted over 2m2 what is the pressure
20/2 = 10Pa
Why will wide tyres be better to use on snow.
They have a wide base so large area for the force to be exerted over so pressure is lower
What would be better to walk on sand with - high heels or flip flops and why
Flip flops - wider and larger area for the force to be exerted over so pressure is lowered
