The Cabinet
not mentioned in Constitution. each cabinet secretary is appointed by president and confirmed by the Senate. run their departments and carry out president’s policies. nowadays, they align more with their departments rather than the president. 15 cabinets
Impeachment
congress can remove president from office for treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. the house brings the charge with a simple majority, the senate holds a trial, and senate has 2/3 vote.
