aldosterone is regulating the miniral balance sodium potessium cortisol is regulating glucose metabolizm long term stress. if its happening chronically its not good for homostasis. Its stealing energy from other functions

shuts down digestion, increases blood pressure, supresses thyroid function, delays ovulation, raises blood sugar, impairs immune system.
