Put paper on the bed, clean room, clean instruments for prepping the room.

Prepare the correct equipment according to the scenario and put it on a mayo tray or a countertop in order of use and covered with a towel. Pull out the step if possible and put gown and drape on table.

Call patient into room, greet patient by name, introduced self, and instruct patient what to do.

Verbalized the measurement of vitals, height, and weight.

Tell patient to go to the bathroom with a labeled specimen cup and empty their bladder and tell them to leave it in the marked door in the bathroom.

Tell patient to remove outer clothing, put on gown with opening in the back, sit at the end of table with drape covering the legs, provide assistance if needed

Ensured patient is ready and notify the judge

Put patient laying down with arms flat at the sides, legs slightly apart while covered by drape .

After examination is said to be done, help the patient up and be alert to any signs of dizziness. Tell patient to dress and help as needed.

Provide patient instructions and directed by the judge, ask patient for any questions, and see patient out.

Put on gloves, wrap and throw away paper in appropriate disposal, dispose of disposable supplies in proper container.

Disinfect bed and tabletops, throw away gloves in proper container, cover bed with paper.
