Preparation of Copper Sulfate

Add copper oxide to the beaker. Warm the beaker and stir the contents with a glass rod. Then continue adding copper oxide until no more reacts.

Filter the mixture using filter paper and a funnel to remove the unreacted copper oxide.

Use a beaker of boiling water to evaporate the copper sulphate solution and leave copper sulphate crystals in the evaporating dish. Using a Bunsen burner for evaporation.
