- Verbal guidance: They are good for fine tuning and they are quick to do. However there could be a overload of information and could be misunderstanding
- Manual guidance: Creates a kinaesthetic sense. However, it could lead to over reliance and someone may not want to be touched
- Mechanical guidance: Use of physical aids such as a bowling machine in cricket.
