2 Make small dot 6cm medial to incision line as guiding mark

Use 3 chlorhexidine swabs

Start at center and spiral out to an 8” circular area

1 - keep blue actuator button forward while loading

Ensure guide is firmly against handle

2 - insert either end of ITCA 650 into cannula
Leaving 1cm protruding

3 - push ITCA 650 into cannula with tip of mosquito forceps
Should not protrude more than 1mm
Will not fall out once inserted

Place back on sterile field

Step 8 Anesthetic

1 - with help from an assistant, draw 10ml of lidocaine with 22 gauge needle

2 - remove 22 g and replace with 25g safety needle

3 - insert needle at incision site and withdraw plunger slightly. Raise skin wheal at incision site (if u see blood in syringe, withdraw/reposition)

4 - advance needle slowly along placement track.
Do not activate safety mechanism until certain no anesthetic will be needed
