Steps for exterior pre-trip

1. Start engine
2. Turn wheel to the right
3. Turn off master control switch
4. Immediately remove hands from steering wheel to avoid injury.
5. When engine is off, dump the air

Start engine

1. Check parking brake is engaged.
2. Sit down
3. Hold down service brake.
4. Master control switch in lights
5. Start engine
6. Release brake

Turn wheel

Answer 3

Turn steering wheel all the way to the right, this is so I can inspect the back of the front tires.
