prejudice: situation affecting prejudice Flashcards
1
Q
how does situation affect prejudice?
A
levels of prejudice in a society rise and fall over time, but personality is stable over time, so sudden changes in prejudice seem to be down to the situation at the time. the idea of prejudice coming from a scarcity of resources fits into this idea, as that would be the situation at the time.
