Could Catalhoyuk could be considered a civilization?
Catalhoyuk could not be considered a civilization because it does not have all of the important characteristics of a civilization, such as a formal writing system or government, which are important for it to be a proper civilization. (Catalhoyuk could not be considered a civilization is because it does not have a solid government structure and it never mentions having a ruler. Catalhoyuk could not be considered a civilization because there is no proof that Catalhoyuk had a formal writing system.)
