Q

Why did medicine stay the same during prehistoric times?

A
  • There was a placebo effect because people would receive supernatural ‘treatments’ as their immune system kicked in and fought off the illness so they thought the ‘treatment’ had worked.
  • There was no science, understanding, literacy, few resources and little migration so they couldn’t progress much further.
