When must the TSA Exterior Security Inspection be conducted?
Before the first flight of the day for that aircraft
Before any flight departing the US to any foreign location(except Canada)

How can a RVSN critical area be identified
four yellow corner markings surrounding the areas of the fuselage adjacent to the primary static ports
When inspecting RVSM critical area’s what conditions preclude flight in RVSM
Physical damage: Creases, dents, deformations, bulges, deformations of the static surface. note Cosmetic issues such as rub marks, dirt with out damage DO not preclude RVSM.
What is the requirement for the nose gear static discharger?
It must be touching the ground (if attached)
How many static dischargers are found on LR wings versus XR
LR - 5 each wing
XR - 7 each wing (2 on winglets)
Can the aircraft be dispatched with missing static dischargers
Yes, Check the CDL for guidance
Regarding tire wear what is the minimum acceptable condition of an aircraft tire
Tire wear should not be past the bottom of the tire grooves
How can brake wear be checked
Brake wear can be checked by inspecting the brake wear indicators. Indicators should be no less than flush with the housing
If a gear uplock hook is in the locked position, what must be done
Maintenance must be contacted
When fluid is present in the nacelle drain sight what elese should be checked
The 6 holes located around the sight glass must be inspected for presense of leaks stains or evidence of fluid. if leakage appears to be excessive mx must be notified
What would a missing saftey disc next to the O2 service panel indicated
The system has been over serviced
How many vortex generators are installed above each wing
