A

repeated consonent and vowel combo sounds and repeating them. Especially CVCV patterns (eg. Dada) (im pretty sure it’s the same CV not just any CVCV at least in terms of average utterance)

What does the Proto-word stage involve?

A

Babbling sounds that seem to match to actual words (they aren’t in the very least because while this isn’t always the case even if it sounds like a real regular word they probably don’t know how to use it)
