Pre-Trip: FRONT WHEEL AXLE:

Question 1

Tire Inflation:

Answer 1

• Valve stem not CDL,
• Has metal cap.
• Check with tire gauge, fill to tire specs.

Question 2

Tire Condition:

Answer 2

• Inside/Outside walls have no ABC.
• Top of tires have no ABC, no uneven ware. (no nails).
• Minimum 4/32” Tread Depth, (at most worn point).
• Must be Virgin Radial’s, not re-capped/re-grooved.

Question 3

Rims: (Inside/Outside)

Answer 3

• Not CDB.
• Free of illegal welds.
• No hammer marks on the bead.

Question 4

Lug Nut’s:

Answer 4

• Not CDB.
• Not Missing/Loose.
• No signs of looseness = rust streaks, shiny metal, shavings.

Question 5

Hub Oiler:

Answer 5

• Not CDL.
• Seals inside/outside.
• Bolt’s not Missing/Loose.
• Check oil level, (insert pinky, oil should be up to first knuckle).
