what is the generic uses of a script in pre-production?
let the production team know where and what is happening in each scene.
whether you’re writing comedy,drama etc. the script will set the tone and style for your programme.
what is the purpose of a script?
identify the location where the action takes place
identify who will be in the scene e.g. actors, narrators
provide stage directions for actors and production crew
provide dialogue (e.g.speech) for actors/characters
explain why a script is a suitable document for the pre-production of a television drama
so actors know what to say and what actions to do so the camera men know what shots and angles need to be used.
