A
help children and families to choose well by providing them with guidance they need to help them choose what’s right for them and avoid whats not.

what are the 8 principles for DPA?
A
- fair and lawful- reason for collecting data, not allowing a negative impact on the person.
- purposes-pen about reasons for use of data, only allowed to use data for said purposes
- adequacy- cannot collect too much data, used appropriately
- accuracy- must be kept up to date and updated
- retention- not kept longer than needed
- rights- if data is kept for longer then it cannot be used, people can access and dispose their data safely, person can demand it to be deleted
- security- physical system must be used to keep important information, not be exposed to endue security risks
- international transfers- cannot be transferred outside the EU
