Right Side - Data Plate
Check Forklifts Capacity
Right Side - Log Book
Check against Data Plates Serial / Frame Number matches, check for forklift damage reports
Right Side - Operators Manual / Owners Manual
Make sure it is there and read it if you need information about the forklift
Right Side - Overhead Guard
Protects you from falling objects, check for rust / cracks etc.
Right Side - Foot Guard
Protects you from objects falling in between the Mast , check for obvious damage
Right Side - Load Guard
Protects from objects falling into and through the Mast
Right Side - Lights and Mirrors
Make sure they are physically their and attached
Right Side - Mast
Check for rust / cracks / obvious damage, check decals
Right Side - Front and Rear Wheels and Tyres
Check for inflated tyres, tyre wear, chunks of rubber missing. Check for obvious damage on the wheel, and make sure nuts are secured. Look at front wheels axel to determine the correct height a pallet should be while traveling
Right Side - Side Panel
Check for obvious damage
Right Side - Seat
Make sure its secure
Right Side - Seatbelt
Pull it out and check for cuts or fraying, check that it locks into place
Backside - Light Bar
Make sure the lights are their and no obvious damage
Backside - Counter Weight
Make sure the bolt is secured properly
Backside - Tyres
Check tyre tread to make sure its not worn
Left Side - Overhead Guard
Check for Cracks, Rust, Obvious Damage
Left Side - Foot Guard
Check for Cracks Rust, Obvious Damage
Left Side - Load Guard
Check for Cracks, Rust, Obvious Damage
Left Side - Mast
Check for rust / cracks / obvious damage, check decals
Left Side - Lights and Mirrors
Check they are there and secure
Left Side - Seat
Check it is secure
Left Side - Grab Handle
Check it is secure
Front Side - Tips of Forks
Check there isn’t any obvious damage
Front Side - Fork Heels
No Obvious damage or cracks
Front Side - Vertical Face of Forks
No Obvious Damage or cracks
Front Side - Fork Locking Pins
Check the pins are seated correctly
Front Side - Hoses and Chains
Make sure they are running up and down vertically straight, no leaks, or obvious Damage
Front Side - Pulleys
Make sure hoses and chains are seated in the pullys correctly, no damage to pulleys
Inside Cabin - Adjust Steering
Move steering upwards so you can open the battery bay
Inside Cabin - Battery Bay
Lift up Seat / Batter Bay
Inside Cabin - Battery Water
Check Floats to ensure enough water
Inside Cabin - Battery Terminals
Check terminals to ensure they are secured
Inside Cabin - Close Battery Bay
Make sure its latched properly
Inside Cabin - Hydraulic Oil Bay
Lift plate up from the ground, and check Hydraulic Oil
