What tumour volume can you treat with SRS?
Up to 20cc
Distinguish Vernet, collet-sicard, villaret
Vernet - jugular foramen (IX, X, XI)
Collet-sicard - condyle Vernet + XII
Villaret - retropharngeal (above lesions + sympathetic lesion)
Signs of Cushings
Thin skin
Easy bruising
Hyperpigmentation
Hypertension
Proximal myopathy
Moon facies
Buffalo hump
Centripetal adiposity
Abdomianl striae
History things cushings
DM Depression Infections Osteoporosis Amenorrhoea or impotence
What’s Nelson’s syndrome?
Follows bilateral adrenalectomy
- hyperpigmentation
- abnormal ACTH
- progression of pituitary tumour
