What did the reforms do.
- Abolish Press censorship.
- Opposition groups and criticism of government was allowed.
- More power given to regional government and Czech Parliament.
- More ‘Market-Based’ Economy and competition introduced.
Did Brezhnev like these ideas? Why?
No, he would not allow them because they would weaken Soviet Control.
What did Dubcek do in response to Brezhnev’s criticisms?
Nothing, he did it anyways. Why? Because he’s Mu Fkin Dubcek.
What did the Brezhnev doctrine do?
If a communist country started to go toward capitalism, communist countries could try to stop them legally. (To protect Eastern Bloc.)

20th August 1968.
What were the outcomes of the Invasion?
Dubcek forced ro sign Moscow protocol which forced him to:
- Uphold communism.
- Reintroduce censorship.
- Deal with political opponents.
