Umbillical Cord
Two eyes = umbillical arteries
Mouth = umbillical vein
Surrounding tissue = whartons jelly
What is the function of the umbillical arteries?
Provide deoxygenated blood from the foetus to the mother
Which umbillical vein persists during foetal circulation
left umbillical vein
What is the function of the umbillical vein
Carry oxygenated blood from the placenta to foetus
What does the left umbillical vein become in the foetus
Ligamentum teres of the liver
