criteria

A

unipolar major depression as at least two consecutive weeks with five or more depressive symptoms (at least one must be depressed mood or anhedonia).
These symptoms include depressed mood, anhedonia, changes in weight or appetite, insomnia or hypersomnia, psychomotor agitation or retardation, fatigue, guilt or worthlessness, thoughts of death, and inability to concentrate.
