What should you show as soon as you have loaded up the template?

What’s the impact of the Library for Marketing teams?
Currently, people aren’t using the content you’re making on Sharepoint and they’re going to market with the wrong / outdated information. Library solves this.
How should you demo the functionality of the Library?
Show how easy it is to build out a certain deliverable from scratch.
Dig into the Library and pull out 4 entire sections. Leave room for bios, tombstones + objects to be pulled.
How should you show slide check?
Show slide by slide, not by warning type
How does UpSlide know if a slide is outdated?
UpSlide tracks updates in your library and will cross reference with the current PPT that’s open
How does the Library get populated?
UpSlide does most of the heavy lifting. You send us your currently created content and we will populate the Library for you.
How can you add content to the Library on an ongoing basis?
You just do it on PPT and in the UpSlide Library. Simply find the folder you want to put it in, right click and press publish.
Can a prospect make their own rules for slide check?
No

How can you guarantee people use the Library?

Can prospects have their own filters with tombstones / bios?
Yes for sure. We just have basic filters in place but you can choose whichever filters you want.
Can prospects have their own styles on bios / tombstones?
Yes absolutely. We will build tombstones out for you in your own style. However you want it, we can do it. E.g., ESG, fully built-out, buy-side vs sell-side differences
What are the shapes you’re seeing with the tombstones?
They’re just created as standard PPT rectangles
Who keeps the CSV file up to date for the Dynamic Library?
Someone on their side; usually an analyst. Takes about a minute to populate per new transaction.
On Tombstones, when it says ‘downloading image’, what is that?
UpSlide takes data from the CSV file and applies the most recent tombstone format, meaning all your historic tombstones will be brought into the most up-to-date branding.
How long does it take to build out tombstones? Who does this?
We build out the tombstones with our in-house PS team. Timing depends on the project.
But to give an idea of time, one of our boutique IB clients wanted simple tombstones and this took a day or so. Whereas a bulge bracket IB wanted 5 different styles and advanced logic applied and this took a fair bit longer.
How should you frame your answers to questions?
With the challenge at the front.
E.g., ‘Good question. So, currently your analysts spend hours manually building tombstones for every project. With UpSlide, this will be completely changed…’
Can we see their tombstone data?
No, we cannot
How can you edit and manage templates in UpSlide?
As an administrator, use the Manage Templates button in the UpSlide toolbar. You can edit template names, reorder them, set default templates, and modify slide masters
What is the Proposal Wizard in UpSlide?
The Proposal Wizard helps create professional proposals by guiding you through a series of predefined steps, ensuring that all necessary content is included and formatted correctly.
Can you favorite content in the Library?
Yes, in the Library pane, right-click on an item and select Add to Favorites for quick access in the future.
Can I change the language with UpSlide?
Yes, to review in a different language you can use UpSlide’s Language feature
How do you finalize and send presentations quickly using UpSlide?
Use the Finalize feature in the UpSlide tab to prepare your presentation for distribution, ensuring all elements are properly formatted and linked.
What is the Facing Pages feature in UpSlide?
Facing Pages allows you to create layouts that span across two pages, which you may want for printing, but keep other parts one-page

It’s a window into your Sharepoint. It doesn’t sit in a cloud or on some random server, it’s just a window into what already sits into your Sharepoint.
Does slide check correct spelling mistakes?
No it can’t
How do you show locked/linked slides?
Right click on a folder and press advanced publish. All slides can be locked.
How do you publish slides in the library?
Right click on a folder and publish the selected object / slide / deck

Can we customize the filters slide check uses?
Ask: what would you like to add that you don’t see here?
Answer: No, but these are the industry standard checks that we know to be the most time saving. We will meet with you before to check they work for you and your team
Can i Customise what Templates I see?
Yes, you can choose which templates you see for which teams. you may have 10 created, but one team may just see the 3 they need. Easy to manage
Do you have loads of content in the Templates?
No, that’s not how they work. Templates are about brand, Library is about content. The two don’t cross over like that.
What is the Template? How should you describe it?
Template is a skeleton for a deck that brings you into the UpSlide world and brand.
Everything I do here will be in my brand; colours, fonts, paragraph styles etc
How should you start with the Library on a demo?
start by just searching for basic content so they have an idea of what’s in there: our story, profiles (aurore/reed), France flag + map, overview of pharma market
Can we reference ThinkCell charts?

No, it’s just 1 or 2
How should you answer questions about things that aren’t currently in the product?
We always take on feedback from clients and push updates every 2 weeks
Are tags relating to slides or entire decks?
Entire decks, but you can mix a tag with a search to find a slide (aurore + headshot)
Can you edit the locked slide title?
Yes, but nothing else
Does slide check work on grouped objects?
Yes, e.g., tombstones
Can you insert a shape to an entire deck?
Yes, in the Library you can find a shape and put ‘apply to master’
Can they add their own format to Tombstones / Bios?
No they can’t. They have to come to us
Can you change the link colours?
Yes!
When you hit finalise and break links, what happens?
It creates 2 seperate docs, one with links in tact, one with links broken called - ‘Finalise’
How do you show the linked slide feature?
In the library, search for ‘global reach’.
Show the linked slide and show that to make changes you must access the source slide.
Pull the source slide into PPT. Make changes, then hit advanced publish on ‘UpSlide Overview’ folder.
Explain how this one change can then filter through hundreds of presentations.
How do you show SharePoint integration with the Library?
Settings > Library. Here you can see the Library folders relate to Sharepoint folders.
What actually is a MS Solutions Partner?
If MS release new update, we get access to them 6 months before public release so that we can develop UpSlide to be compatiblewith the new version
How many of your projects are Marketing-led? How many are just client-facing teams wanting the tool?
We have a fairly even spread. Some M&A teams for example will just want to solve the challenge of spending too long on low value tasks and want it for their team. But a lot of Marketing teams will come to us with a rebrand challenge, for example, and need us to solve it.
Why is UpSlide AI good/useful in PPT?
AI directly in PPT, mouse-free access
Minimize costs as used org’s Azure Open AI model (no need for individual CoPilot licences)
Safest option as no chance of risking data being used by big AI companies
HOWEVER; end users cannot write their own prompts
