What is Situational poverty ?
Situational poverty is poverty caused by sudden crisis or accidents for instance, natural disasters, divorce, car accidents, etc
What is generational poverty ?
When poverty occurs in a family for at least 2 generations, passed down by inheritance.
What is Absolute poverty ?
Absolute poverty is when someone cannot afford the basic need for example clean drinking water, food, shelter, shirts etc.
What is relative poverty ?
Relative poverty is when the household receives 50% less income than the average income but will usually change with economic growth.
What is urban poverty ?
Urban poverty is when someone has economic and social difficulties in widely develop cities or towns.
What is rural poverty ?
Rural poverty often stems from limited access to markets, education, job opportunities, financial and healthcare product in the area they live in.
