Sears, Roebuck and Co.
Sears worked with the rail road and got lots of watches by default when anew ever refused to sign for them. He sold these watches as a business. He placed an ad in the paper, and Roebuck, a watchmaker, got involved. They became famous for their catalogs and mail order system. They opened their first store in Chicago.

sporting goods store that originated in Maine. First store was in Freeport. He created shoes for hunting called the Maine Hunting Shoe.
