What does the anatomical snuff box contain?
The radial artery and the superficial branch of the radial nerve innervating its overlaying skin.
What clinical finding would be seen in a compression or injury of the radial nerve high in the axilla or proximal arm?
Wrist drop - inability to extend wrist and fingers at MCP.
Triceps very rarely if ever weakened.
What causes Handcuff palsey?
Damage of the superficial branch of the radial nerve at the wrists leading to numbness over the dorsum of the hand between Mc I and Mc II.
