Pectoralis major
O: Clavicular head and sternal head.
I: Lateral lip, intratrubercular groove.
A: adducts, medially rotates, flexes, can extend the humerus from a flexed/elevated position.
Innervation: Lateral and medial pectoral nerve.
Pectoralis minor
O: Ribs 3-5
I: Coracoid process
A: Stabilizes scapula elevates ribs.
Innervation: Medial pectoral nerve.
Subclavius:
O: Junction of the first rib and manubrium
I: Inferior center of the clavicle
A: Achors/depresses clavicle
Innervation: Nerve to subclavius.
Seratus Anterior
O: Lateral parts of ribs 1-8
I: Medial anterior border of the scapula.
A: Protracts, rotates, stabilizes scapula on thorax.
Innervation: Long thoracic nerve.
Trapezius
O: Occipital bone, spinous processes of C1-T12
I: Clavicle, Acromion, superior scapular spine.
A: Elevates, retracts, rotates, depresses scapula.
Innervation: Acessory nerve CN XI.
Levator Scapulae
O: Transverse processes of C1-C4
I: Superior angle of scapula
Action: Elevates scapula
Innervation: Dorsal scapular n.
